Pastor Laolu Bamiteko is a visionary and motivational leader. He is fondly called “Pastor Laolu”. He’s known for his servant’s heart and leadership by example. Called to the ministry in 1995, Pastor Laolu joined The Redeemed Christian of God in 1999 when he relocated to the United States of America. Four and half years later, he was called to start a Parish under this mission. He is always passionate about helping others develop to their fullest potential. Pastor Laolu was born and raised in Nigeria. His is a Chartered Banker and has his first degree in Economics in University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance in University of Lagos, Nigeria. When relocated to the United States of America, he obtained another Master degree in Information Management Science and also a certification in Contracting from The United States Defense Acquisition University, Devoir. He’s also a certified Faith-Based Counselor as well as a diploma holder in Theology.
The goal statement of Christ Powerhouse Philadelphia is “Reach out to people of every nationality and background to develop dedicated disciples who will be doers of God’s Word and experience the abundant life. The members see the church as a home church where. The expression of love amongst the membership continues to attract people of all walks of life into its midst. Pastor Loalu is boldly committed to the teaching of God’s Word undiluted and he’s practically and diligently dedicated to the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Laolu and his beautiful wife Funmi, the church First-lady are blessed with two handsome men; Olamide and Olaniyi.
Pastor Funmi is the multi-talented wife of Pastor Laolu Bamiteko who is the Pastor of the Christ Powerhouse Philadelphia, located in Upper Darby of Philadelphia suburb, Pennsylvania.
She is the founder and Pastor in charge of the Women In-Christ Ministries, a women’s ministry that addresses pertinent women’s issues from birth to old age, with a view to positively affecting these areas in line with the Word of God. The Women In-Christ Ministries is the women’s ministry of the Christ Powerhouse Philadelphia.
A Registered Nurse by profession, Pastor Funmi has his first degree in Chemistry in University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Delta State University, Nigeria. When relocated to the United States of America, she obtained another Bachelor degree in Nursing (BS) and also Master of Science (MS) in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She’s also like her husband, a certified Faith-Based Counselor as well as a diploma holder in Theology. Pastors Funmi & Laolu are blessed with two wonderful men children.
